Odisha fails to collect 2695 crore in mining penalties
Odisha's Minister of Steel and Mines, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, stated that the state has not assessed the financial impact of the amended Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act and has yet to collect 2,695 crore in outstanding mining penalties.
