Separately, IIT Madras Director V. Kamakoti, a member of a six-expert panel tasked with revamping the National Testing Agency, said the panel's biggest challenge is rebuilding trust in the exam system.
He noted that the second NEET exam was conducted without issues but said processes still need to be re-examined and fine-tuned, with accountability at every stage from question generation to centre administration.
Kamakoti also cautioned that AI cannot independently set or translate question papers and that human review remains essential, as the panel prepares to release its reform report.
