A 26-year-old rowdy-sheeter named Dhanush and his four associates have been arrested by Channammanakere Achukattu police in Bengaluru for a dacoity.
The complainant told police he was assaulted and robbed of cash outside a bar in Manjunatha Nagar on August 16.
Dhanush had been externed from Bengaluru for one year and was required to stay in Kunigal taluk, Tumakuru district, but allegedly returned to the city and committed the crime.
All five accused were produced before a court on August 22 and remanded in judicial custody.
