Annamayya District Collector Nishant Kumar on Wednesday directed officials to restore uninterrupted drinking water supply in Madanapalle town after reports of disruptions in some municipal wards.
He inspected the Ramarao Colony sump, the Vempalli tank, and local borewells, ordering faster filling of storage facilities and deployment of fire service vehicles and additional tankers where needed.
Officials have been asked to streamline the distribution network and carry out constant field-level monitoring until supply is fully restored.
