Karnataka's Chief Electoral Officer has announced that BBMP North and South zones in Bengaluru, along with other districts, have completed 100% digitization of voter forms in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Bengaluru had initially lagged in form distribution and digitization but has caught up as the August 8 deadline approaches.
Across the state, 99.56% of forms are digitized, while about 1.1 crore voters (19.95%) are on the ASDDO list of absent, shifted, dead or duplicate voters.
The ASDDO lists are being shared with registered political parties for scrutiny and corrections before the deadline.
