Karnataka's chief electoral officer V Anbukumar said nearly 77% of enumeration forms collected under the state's special revision of electoral rolls have been digitised, with over 43 lakh forms still pending submission.
Field verification has flagged more than 8.4 million voters under categories such as shifted, deceased, absent and duplicate, with supporting documents like death certificates and spot mahazars for each case.
Eligible voters whose names are missing can still apply for inclusion through Form 6, and those turning 18 by October 1, 2026 can also apply.
The revision aims to remove ineligible entries and include all eligible citizens before draft electoral rolls are published.
