Karnataka CM and colleagues to go to Cabinet meeting in Mangaluru in open top double decker bus

Through the Reader lens: Karnataka Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar and his cabinet ministers will travel in an open-top double decker bus of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation to the Cabinet meeting in Mangaluru on September 18. The ministers will first gather at the Kadri Manjunatha temple and then ride the bus from Bhagwan Mahaveer (Pumpwell) Circle to the Praja Soudha district office complex at Padil, where residents can greet them along the route. The meeting follows a suggestion by district in-charge Minister U. T. Khader, who said holding Cabinet meetings outside Bengaluru helps highlight region-specific issues, and the ministers will also plant saplings at Praja Soudha. Coastal district legislators have submitted their demands, and the meeting will focus on addressing the feasible ones.
