Congress has attributed MLA Mankalu Vaidya's exclusion from the Karnataka cabinet expansion list to a typing error, with S.S.
Mallikarjun appointed instead.
Mallikarjun said Chief Minister D.K.
Shivakumar phoned him in the morning asking him to come prepared, then he found his name missing from the list, and later the CM called again asking him to attend the swearing-in around 4 pm.
