- The Karnataka Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Department has invited applications for scholarships for the children of ex-servicemen who do not receive a military pension, as well as pensioner ex-servicemen from other states living in Karnataka, for the 2026-27 academic year.
- The scholarships, funded from the welfare fund and special fund, cover book grants for students from Class 1 to second-year PU and scholarships for degree, diploma, JOC and professional college students in Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Ballari and Vijayanagara districts.
- Applications are free of charge and can be obtained from the department office in Dharwad.
- Completed applications must be submitted by November 30.
