Karnataka received heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, with coastal districts recording the highest amounts, according to the Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority.
Hebri in Udupi district recorded the highest rainfall at 173.6 mm, followed by Hangavalli (170 mm) and Hakladi (167 mm) in Kundapura taluk.
Other coastal areas in Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada, including Mangaluru (123 mm), also saw significant rain, while inland districts received comparatively lower amounts.
