The AP JAC Amaravati, an employees' joint action committee, has warned the Andhra Pradesh government that it will launch a statewide agitation if pending employee demands are not resolved by August 15.
The union's leaders say assurances given during talks with Ministers in July have not been implemented, creating uncertainty among employees.
Their demands include clearing salary arrears of about ₹28,000 crore from the previous government and liabilities of around ₹25,000 crore under the present one, along with pending DA instalments, interim relief, the 12th Pay Revision Commission, pension benefits and the Employees' Health Card scheme.
The JAC also lists 27 pending demands concerning contract, outsourcing and Village and Ward Secretariat employees, and says it will hold a State-level meeting in Vijayawada and begin agitation if no concrete decisions are announced.
