A tree branch struck the pantograph of a Central Railway Harbour Line train near Vile Parle station in Mumbai on Sunday morning around 9.30am, causing sparks and loud sounds that alarmed passengers.
Officials evacuated the train as a precaution and inspected it, finding no major damage to the train or overhead equipment and no safety risk.
No one was hurt, and the train resumed its journey at 9.47am.
