A private travel bus caught fire in the early hours of Thursday on NH-44 near Miduturu in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district while travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.
The driver noticed flames on the rear of the vehicle and stopped it immediately, allowing all 33 passengers to escape before the fire engulfed the bus.
Police and fire services brought the flames under control, and no one was injured.
The district Superintendent of Police has ordered an in-depth investigation into the incident.
