A head constable of the Raidurgam police station in Cyberabad has been suspended for neglecting emergency Dial-100 calls.
After two cars collided near IKEA in Gachibowli around midnight on August 1, a victim called Dial-100 twice, but the constable allegedly did not visit the spot and closed both complaints as 'caller nuisance'.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh ordered the suspension following an inquiry, citing negligence in duty.
The suspension will remain in force until a departmental inquiry is completed.
