Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced a package of measures for government employees and pensioners after discussions with 11 employees' unions at Undavalli.
The announcements include appointing the 12th Pay Revision Commission, releasing two pending dearness allowances (due from July 2024 and January 2025, payable from October 1, 2026), and additional pension of 10–15 per cent for pensioners above 70 and 75 years from January 2027.

The measures will cost an additional ₹2,880 crore annually and come on top of earlier steps like the Old Pension Scheme extension for eligible CPS employees and raising the PSU retirement age to 62.
