Hindustan Shipyard Limited distributed artificial limbs, hearing aids, wheelchairs and tricycles to nearly 450 persons with disabilities in Vizianagaram district.
The distribution was done by HSL Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral Chandrasekharan Raghuram at a programme organised by the Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust at Mangalampalem in Kothavalasa mandal.
The event was held on Tuesday.
Rear Admiral Raghuram said persons with disabilities could achieve much with adequate support from society.
