Over 500 conservancy workers of the Erode Corporation boycotted work on Wednesday to demand the arrest of a man who allegedly slapped a sanitary work supervisor during a street-cleaning operation.
The supervisor, Rajesh Kumar, was allegedly assaulted by Sebastian of Bharathi Nagar after questioning him for abusing workers in Ward 8.
