Surendra Koli, aged 50, was discovered dead by hanging in his tea shop in Haridwar. Koli was previously a primary suspect in the 2006 Nithari serial murder case in Noida alongside his employer Moninder Singh Pandher. Both individuals were eventually acquitted of the charges due to insufficient evidence, and Koli had been released from prison prior to his death.
