Violent protests broke out in Rawalakot in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir after locals took to the streets to demonstrate.
According to the Joint Awami Action Committee, Pakistani security forces allegedly fired on the protesters, and at least nine people were killed in Rawalakot, with some reports suggesting a higher toll.
The JAAC shared a handwritten list naming some of the dead, including Usman Nazeer, Kashif, Mohammad Ibrahim, Arsal Asghar, Hanif Mohammad Basheer, Waseem Afzal, Basit Shah and Sabir Khan.
