Kolar district authorities have delivered notices to 97 percent of the 1,42,181 voters flagged for review during the special electoral roll revision (SIR).
The district has 11,24,231 voters in the draft roll published on August 24, including 5,58,680 men, 5,65,461 women and 90 third-gender voters.
Hearings on the notices began on September 5 and will continue until September 29 under election registration officers.
A total of 5,757 applications have been received so far, including 2,707 for new additions, 248 for deletions and 2,801 for corrections.
September 23 is the last date to file claims and objections, and the delivery progress matters because remaining flagged voters could otherwise lose their voting eligibility without a chance to respond.
