India has launched its first-ever Operation Southern Readiness multinational maritime security training exercise at the Southern Naval Command in Kochi.
The four-day engagement, run under the Indian Navy-led Combined Task Force 154 with Combined Maritime Forces, has brought together 254 participants from 26 countries, plus 74 facilitators and four international organisations.
