Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital in Srikakulam district conducted 2,018 eye surgeries and supported 9,638 patients between April and July 2026, according to a release from its Managing Trustee A. Krishna Kumar and DGM K. Bangar Raju.
Nearly 90% of patients from remote areas of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts received surgeries free of charge.
