Uttarakhand has reported a sharp rise in pilgrim visits to major temples outside the Char Dham circuit this year, according to state government figures.
Jageshwar Dham, Triyuginarayan, Purnagiri and Dhari Devi all recorded substantial growth between January and June 2026, with Dhari Devi's footfall nearly doubling.
The Char Dham Yatra itself has also seen record participation, with 45.84 lakh devotees in 105 days and Yamunotri logging its highest-ever turnout.
The state government attributes the growth to improved connectivity, infrastructure and temple development initiatives such as the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission.
