…During the enquiry, Ahmed revealed that one Danish had purchased clothes from his shop worth Rs 17,200 and had paid with fake notes to tender Rs 9,000. He was arrested from Gandhi Nagar market following CCTV analysis. “ Our investigation revealed the involvement of Jharkhand resident Guddu, from whom Danish had allegedly procured counterfeit currency worth Rs 30,000 against Rs 10,000 in real currency. An inter-state operation was launched, and Guddu was arrested from Bodh Gaya with the counterfeit notes ,” said DCP Milind Mahadeo Dumbere.
