- A bus carrying Amarnath Yatra pilgrims overturned into a ravine on the Sonamarg Highway near an S-bend at Hari Ganiwan in the Gund area, coming to rest on the roof of a house about 20-25 metres below the road.
- The bus was carrying around 50 pilgrims, and 30 of them suffered minor injuries in the accident.
- Police, security forces including ITBP, CRPF, Assam Rifles and RR personnel, along with local residents, launched a rescue operation and evacuated all the injured.
- The injured were admitted to Kangan hospital for treatment and medical examination.
