The Peenya flyover (Shivakumar Swamiji flyover) on National Highway-4 in Bengaluru will be closed for asphalting work from August 3 to 12.
Vehicle movement is restricted from 10 pm to 5 am on weekdays, and on Saturdays and Sundays all vehicles towards Tumakuru are banned from midnight to 5 am.
Police have suggested an alternative route via the NH-4 road below the SRS flyover, service roads, and junctions including Jalahalli Cross and Parle-G Toll.
The flyover links 21 districts of the state and other states, so the diversion is expected to cause congestion on the alternative route.
